A vigorous shortwave weather disturbance moved through Northcentral Washington yesterday and a weaker system will follow it today. Expect windy weather in our Friday forecast with partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of an isolated shower, highs today in the mid 40’s. Winds today will be out of the northwest 10-20 mph slowly diminishing throughout the afternoon.
A very quiet weather period is expected Saturday and Sunday with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies each day with afternoon high temperatures in the mid 40’s Saturday and upper 40’s on Sunday.
A Pacific ridge of high pressure will bring a fairly stable upper level northwest flow allowing for a generally dry forecast for Monday and Tuesday as well with partly cloudy skies each day, light wind and high temperatures in the mid 40’s. Saturday night.
A weak trough of low pressure will slide down the back side of the ridge on Wednesday and Thursday bringing just a slight chance for isolated rain showers and warmer too with afternoon highs each day in the upper 40’s to near 50 degrees.
