Smoke and haze will continue to plague portions of the Inland Northwest, especially locations near new or existing fires. Most of the smoke in Northcentral Washington will be around the Methow and Okanogan Valley’s with some haze drifting toward parts of the Columbia Basin.
As far as our weather, the high-pressure ridge that brought us a fairly hot weekend will continue to stay put over most of the western U.S. brining us sunny skies today with afternoon highs in the mid 90’s.
Expect some clouds to move up from the south tomorrow, expect partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies with afternoon high temperatures once again on Tuesday in the mid-90’s.
As we get into Wednesday and especially the weekend, daytime temperatures will trend even hotter. Forecast for Wednesday calling for mostly sunny skies and dry, hot weather with afternoon highs in the upper 90’s.
Thursday through Sunday, the ridge of high pressure strengthens even more bringing sunshine and unseasonably hot temperatures with afternoon highs each day between 100-15 degrees.
