DRYDEN- Area residents traveling to the upper valley over the next 3 days will experience minor delays and congestion on Highway 2.

Washington State Department of Transportation will be working in the eastbound lane of Highway 2, just east of the entrance to the Dryden Transfer Station and all eastbound traffic will be diverted to one of the westbound lanes during the construction project.

To relieve some of the congestion, road crews will be closing North Alice Avenue at the Highway 2 intersection and Dryden residents are asked to use Dryden Avenue to access Highway 2 during the project.

The Dryden Transfer Station will remain open during its normal business hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
