A large upper level low pressure system is currently positioned in Southern Canada this morning and will bring cool and windy weather to the Pacific Northwest today with a chance for isolated showers.
Northcentral Washington weather for today calling for partly cloudy skies with a 20% chance of showers and windy, out of the northwest 15-25 mph with possible gusts near 30 mph, highs in the mid to upper 70’s.
On Thursday a westerly zonal flow develops while drier, warmer air races into the region. Under sunny skies and a light west breeze, afternoon highs will generally be around 80 degrees.
By Friday our weather pattern will become much more stable and benign as a ridge of high pressure build in across the Pacific Northwest. The Columbia Basin and Wenatchee Valley can expect sunny skies, light wind and warmer temperatures with afternoon highs in the mid 80’s.
On Independence Day Saturday, the weather looks great with sunny skies, light wind and afternoon high temperatures in the mid to upper 80’s.
