In the game broadcast right here on the NCWLIFE Channel, Eastmont raced out to a 14-nothing lead over Eisenhower and despite giving up that lead in the 3rd quarter, the Wildcats put their foot down and went on for the 35-17 victory.

Caelen Massey ran for a touchdown and caught two TD passes from Carson Everhart as the Wildcats rolled up 240-yards of offense. And, even though they allowed Damian Pacheco 241-yards on 28-carries, Eastmont improved to 4-and-oh in the Big 9 and 7-and-1 overall.

Sunnyside Hands Wenatchee First League Loss

Meanwhile, Wenatchee was on the road at Sunnyside Friday. Nate Blauman continued his brilliant running, carrying 30 times for 146-yards and a touchdown to help the Panthers build a 10-nothing halftime lead. But the Grizzlies scored two fourth quarter touchdowns, including the game-winner on a 68-yard pass play from Derrick Escamilla (esk-uh-MEE-ya) to Mike Rivera as Sunnyside handed Wenatchee its first Big 9 loss 14-10.

So Eastmont sits alone atop the Big 9 standings at 4-and-oh. Wenatchee is 2nd at 4-and-1. Eastmont travels to Moses Lake this Friday while Wenatchee hosts Walla Walla in a non-league game.
