Coach and Players Buying In To Winning Ways

EAST WENATCHEE, WA – Eastmont’s football program has gone to the state playoffs just six times in school history. The last time was 2012 when the Wildcats finished atop the Big 9 standings with an 8-and-2 record, falling in the first round of the playoffs to Auburn. That would have been when the current seniors at Eastmont were nine or ten years old.
For senior defensive back Jordan Jessup and his classmates, they’d like to change that…

Head Coach Michael Don is in his 4th year at Eastmont. His teams have finished 5-and-4, 1-and-9, and 6-and-4. This year, his Wildcats are off to a 4-and-1 start. Don says it’s been a challenge to change the mindset within the program…

Eastmont travels to Davis tomorrow night trying to win its second consecutive Big 9 game and keep pace with Wenatchee and Sunnyside.

Wenatchee Hosts West Valley LIVE on NCWLIFE Friday

The game we’ll feature tomorrow night on the NCWLIFE Channel pits Wenatchee against West Valley. For Panther Coach Scott Devereaux, it will be up to his defense to keep track of the Rams quarterback, 6-foot-1, 223-pound senior Spencer Jolley…

Offensively, the Panthers have found a great target in tight end Riley Kunz. The junior has three touchdowns among his 7-receptions after missing the first two games with a stress fracture. He’s also a huge asset in blocking on the line. So which does he enjoy more?

You can see more from Coach Devereaux and Riley Kunz tomorrow during our pre-game show at 6:45 here on the NCWLIFE Channel.
