Eastmont uses 20-to-3 run to beat Pasco 81-65

EAST WENATCHEE, WA – Despite trailing most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters, Eastmont was able to reel in Pasco for an 81-65 victory. Isaac Wellborn led the way for the Wildcats with 28-points while Trey Haberlock chipped in 21.

So a good night for the Wildcats. It was also a good night for the Wenatchee Panthers, who earned a 1-point road win at Hanford 58-57…

Cashmere continued its winning ways with an 89-56 win over Cascade. Despite Quinn Stamps’ 21-points and Chelan overcoming a double-digit deficit to force overtime, the Mountain Goats fell to Omak 72-66. And it was Tonasket topping Waterville-Mansfield 64-43.

Pasco speed too much for Eastmont, Bulldogs win by 20

The game featured on the NCWLIFE Channel saw Pasco erase an early deficit and defeat Eastmont 66-46 at Eastmont High School. The Wildcats posted an early 5-nothing lead and led 6-3 when Pasco went on a 15-oh run to end the first quarter leading 18-6. Eastmont closed to within 3 in the second quarter but the Bulldogs made another 11-oh run to lead by 12 at the half and pull away for a 20-point win.

Cashmere cruised to a 71-24 win over Cascade to remain undefeated at 7-and-oh. Oroville edged Manson in a low-scoring affair, 35-25. And the Waterville-Mansfield girls picked up a 57-41 win at home against Tonasket.

Wenatchee bowlers win, don’t get help from Eastmont

The Eastmont Bowling team had high hopes to pick up a win over Rival Eisenhower at Eastmont Lanes Tuesday. Coach Christy Binge says her girls were up for the challenge but Ike was just a touch better, topping the Wildcats 3-1 and by a total pin count of just 30…
High scorers for Eastmont were Samantha Heinz with a 222 and Alicia Hastings with a 192.
Just a few lanes down from Eastmont, the Wenatchee Panthers shut down Davis 4-0 with a pin count of 2,088 to 1,744. High Scorers for Wenatchee were Jessica Holbrook with a 194, Kylah Hankins with a 188, and Hannah Johnson with a 183. The ladies will have some time off for the holidays and get back at it in the new year.

Wild travel to trail looking for 10th-straight win

The Wenatchee Wild will try to make it ten wins in a row tonight in BCHL play with a road game at Cominco Arena against the Trail Smoke Eaters…
In fact, the last time the Wild lost was November 16th at Trail. Since then, they’ve mustered a 9-game winning streak and wrestled first place away from Penticton in the Interior Division. Wenatchee is 13-and-2 since the 1st of November and are 22-10-and-2 on the season. The Wild have 46-points, which is 3rd-best in the entire league behind Prince George and Chilliwack. After tonight, the Wild will be home for two games Friday and Saturday against Vernon.

Wagner and Dickson selected to Pro Bowl for Seattle

Two Seahawks were selected to the 2019 NFL Pro Bowl. Bobby Wagner is a returner at linebacker while rookie punter Michael Dickson was chosen for his first Pro Bowl…
This will be Wagner’s 5th Pro Bowl in 7-seasons after being drafted by Seattle in the 2nd round in 2012 out of Utah State. He’s currently 8th in the NFL with 114 combined tackles. Dickson, who didn’t kick an American football until 2015 after being born and raised in Australia, leads the NFL gross average at 48.9 yards per punt and in net average at 44.2. Dickson is the first rookie punter selected to the Pro Bowl since Dale Hunter of the Rams in 1985.
