Earthquakes hit western Washington early in morning


Two earthquakes hit western Washington early this morning as a 4.6, 13.5 mile deep quake hit Three Lakes at 2:51 a.m followed by a 3.5 aftershock hitting near Monroe two minutes later.

There were no reported injuries or damages from either of the morning quakes.

The Washington State DOT reports there was no damage to any bridges or infrastructure during the earthquakes.

Despite occurring on the west side, many Wenatchee residents said they could feel the quakes from their homes.

A third 2.5 magnitude earthquake hit Royal City at 3:46 this morning that also caused no injuries or damage.
