Drug enforcement team raids Ephrata home for the second time this year

A suspected Ephrata drug house was raided Wednesday for the second time this year and a suspect who is still awaiting trial from first raid now faces additional charges.

Eric Carlin Craig, 49, faces multiple new drug charges, including possession of methamphetamine and possession heroin with intent to deliver, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said.

The Grant County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team raided the trailer on property at 16860 Frey Road Northwest and reported seizing 41 grams of meth, 29 grams of heroin, one Fentanyl tablet and various drug supplies.

The home was first raided and Craig arrested May 25.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said he was in jail until July 16 when he posted a $15,000 bond.

Also arrested in the latest raid was 47-year-old Sean C. Mutzer of Ephrata who was wanted on two outstanding felony warrants for failing to register as a sex offender.
