One vehicle ended up on its top and another on its side after a collision on Highway 2 Stevens Pass this morning that sent both drivers to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Washington State Patrol said a 2002 Ford F-350 driven by Lawrence Bosa, 64, of Marysville and a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus being driven by a Ruth Viquez Arias, 20, of Poulsbo were both westbound about five miles east of the summit when Bosa lost control and hit the sedan.

The pickup ended up on its side and the sedan on its roof.

Bryant said Bosa was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Both drivers were transported to Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth where they were treated for minor injuries.

Both lanes of travel were blocked for less than an hour after the accident, which happened about 8 a.m..
