WENATCHEE — Public librarians in Chelan and Douglas counties can soon begin handing out book orders curbside, and taking in returned materials the same way. The service has been restricted locally due to COVID-19, but new health orders from Gov. Jay Inslee have now enabled the process. That’s a relief for NCW Libraries director Barbara Walters … and anyone else with a stack of library books waiting at home since March. The curbside program will get started on September 14th.
