What a first quarter for Cashmere’s Jack Croci. The junior Bulldog had a 5-yard touchdown reception, a 3-yard touchdown run, a 29-yard punt return touchdown and 90-yard kick-off return for a touchdown, all in the first quarter. Cashmere went on to beat Granite Falls 48-21 to improve to 3-and-0 on the season.
In other Caribou Trail League action, Cascade topped Brewster 42-22. Chelan fell to Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) 34-28. Okanogan topped Omak 27-18.
Mountain View scored on a safety on Wenatchee’s first offensive play of the game and it was all downhill for the Panthers from there as the Thunder won 51-14 Friday in Vancouver, WA. Moses Lake traveled to Lake City and came away with a 28-21 win. Lewiston pummeled Eisenhower 61-21. And, in it’s first game of the season after having its first two games wiped away by COVID problems in the Ram’s program, West Valley fell to Kennewick 34-20.
In Central Washington B-League play, Tonasket shut out Manson 29-0. Waterville-Mansfield earned its second win of the season, downing Bridgeport 50-16. Pomeroy pummeled Liberty Bell 58-12. And it was Soap Lake over Pateros 56-6.
Coming up on the schedule today, Entiat travels to Tekoa-Rosalia at 2 o’clock. Davis is at Garfield at 2. Sunnyside travels to Skyview at 3:30.
