A crime-free Grand Parade Apple Blossom weekend

WENATCHEE – This year’s Apple Blossom Festival was relatively crime free according to Wenatchee Police Captain, Edgar Reinfeld. The law enforcement calls for service paled in comparison to festivals of the past when outside agencies were called in to help with unruly crowds.

Reinfeld says the lone incident of note involved a woman who accidentally shot herself in the leg.

Reinfeld says the woman was taken to Central Washington Hospital for treatment. He says no charges were filed.
