Confluence Health will be building a three-level parking structure at Central Washington Hospital that will add 500 parking spaces to the facility.
Construction on the parking garage, on the corner of the hospital campus closest to Red Apple Road and Miller Street, will begin in March and take six to nine months to build, Confluence said in a press release.
CEO Dr. Peter Rutherford said the garage is much-needed at the hospital.
“We’ve listened to our neighbors, patients, and staff, and we hear them loud and clear,” Rutherford said. “Building this parking structure addresses a foundational need so CWH can continue to serve as a leading health care center now and into the future.”
He also thanked in advance for people’s patience during the construction process.
