Cleaning work will slow traffic on Wenatchee’s George Sellar Bridge

The state will be doing what it’s calling some spring cleaning on the George Sellar Bridge over the next few days.

The bridge cleaning will begin Saturday morning at 5:30 and continue until 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Motorists can expect lane closures and delays and no vehicles wider than 11 feet will be allowed.

In addition, the pedestrian path will be closed when the eastbound lane is closed.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is encouraging people to use the Odabashian Bridge during the work, if possible.
