Classy Chassis parade to roll on June 11, but no in-person car show

EAST WENATCHEE — A signature part of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival is making a comeback: The Classy Chassis car parade will take a bow June 11th during the festival, which has been scaled back and rescheduled due to the pandemic.

The annual East Wenatchee event, sponsored by Les Schwab, takes off at 6 p.m. Organizers say there will be health requirements, including facial masks and social distancing, even though the car parade is an outdoor event.

The parade is on, but there will be no accompanying car show this year. That element hopefully will come back onto the schedule for 2022.
