Chilly weather will persist over the Inland Northwest through Tuesday as cold Canadian air continues to funnel down from British Columbia. Under mostly sunny skies and a northwest breeze today, expect afternoon highs to reach the lower 60’s. Overnight lows tonight may dip below freezing in several spots and over the next couple of nights with clear skies in the forecast.
Drier and warmer weather will arrive on Wednesday as a large area of high-pressure moves into the Eastern Pacific. Under sunny skies, high temperatures on Wednesday will climb into the upper 60’s.
Mostly sunny skies Thursday through Sunday with warmer temperatures each day as the area of high pressure continues to intensify. Afternoon high temperatures Thursday will reach the upper 60’s with lower 70’s expected by Friday.
