Chelan County Sheriff Deputy Jennifer Tyler Under Investigation

WENATCHEE, WA.-Chelan County Sheriff’s Deputy, Jennifer Tyler, who lost her race against Sheriff Brian Burnett in the November election, is now the subject of an independent investigation.

Chief Deputy, Jason Reinfeld tells NCWLIFE news that Tyler was placed on administrative leave on Monday. Reinfeld says the investigation is being conducted by an independent agency but he declined to discuss the nature of the probe. Tyler was fired in 2010 but then reinstated in 2013 after it was determined she was wrongfully terminated.

Her subsequent lawsuit against the Sheriff resulted in her receiving a 506-thousand dollar judgement. She continued to criticize the Sheriff’s office during her failed election campaign and in an election night interview with NCWLIFE News she vowed to try again in four years.
