Chase Ends In Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on Odabasian Bridge

WENATCHEE, WA.- A high-speed chase yesterday afternoon caused a two-vehicle pileup at the intersection of Highway 28 and Highway 2/97 off the Odabashian Bridge in Douglas County. The driver of the vehicle and the driver of the pickup he ran into received minor injuries according to State Trooper, John Bryant. Witnesses reported the suspect vehicle, a Dodge Ram pickup truck, reached speeds of almost 100 mph during the chase which started on the Chelan County side of the river.  Chelan County Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident.
