Cashmere man arrested for shooting gun into crowded Fish Lake campground

A Cashmere man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly shooting a gun into a crowded campground at Fish Lake. The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said 31-year-old Gabriel Alexander Bouffiou first fired shots near the Goose Creek Campground on Saturday night, which led to a fight with neighboring campers in which Bouffiou was punched in the face. About 8:45 Sunday morning, Bouffiou reportedly returned to the campground and fired another shot into a camp site that nearly hit a camper’s dog. He later was arrested by deputies in a traffic stop and jailed for drive-by shooting and DUI.
