Bill Motsenbocker is stepping down as Superintendent of the Cascade School District in Leavenworth. He will be retiring in June but the District has already begun the process of finding a replacement.

It’s reported that the District will work with former North Central ESD Superintendent, Gene Sharratt in that search process. Motsenbocker was hired in 2014 to succeed Steve McKenna who now serves as a Commissioner on the Chelan County PUD.

The school district now invites the community to participate in an on-line survey describing qualities they want to see in a new superintendent. The school board has also scheduled four public meetings to further discuss the search process.

Applications are slated to be sent out on December 28th with candidate interviews scheduled to start in March.
