Car prowls in Wenatchee on the rise

Wenatchee Police say you’re asking for trouble if you leave your car unlocked at night. Numerous car thefts have been reported around the city recently and Captain Edgar Reinfeld says most of them involved unlocked cars parked along the street. . .

No suspects have been identified. Reinfeld also reminds vehicle owners not to leave their cars unattended while warming up the engine. He says the number of stolen vehicle reports always increase when morning temperatures start to drop at this time of year.
