Local history comes alive at the museum in People of Our Past. Celebrate 100 years of the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival. Five actors will portray the lives of historic figures related to the festival. They will perform short monologues as they take you on a tour of the festival’s history from the first festival in 1919 and on through the years as the festival celebrated its 10th and then 50th Anniversaries. This year’s historic figures are orchardist and Ladies’ Musical Club member Mr. and Mrs. E. Wagner (Steve and Marile Kunkle), 1929 Apple Blossom Queen Rosella Corle (Emily Cupp), Apple Blossom crown artist Fern Cousineau Duncan (Bonnie VanHoven) and Applarian and director general Bill Thoroughman (Dave Williams). The daytime shows are free with no reservations necessary.
