In “Astronomy”, WVSO will feature the thunderous, movie-soundtrack feeling of Holst’s The Planets. Wenatchee’s Appleaires women’s choir will join WVSO in the “Neptune” movement. Also on the program is Romberg’s technical and expressive Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, featuring flutist Hal Ott, professor of flute at Central Washington University.
