The Wenatchee Wild are still winless in BCHL play after a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Prince George yesterday…
After a scoreless first period, Ben LeFranc broke the ice with a goal in the 11th minute of the second for the Spruce Kings. Things got out of control for Wenatchee in the third with Prince George scoring three goals in a three-minute span.
Cade Stibbe was the loan goal-scorer for Wenatchee at the 12:01 mark of the 3rd.
Wenatchee dropped a heartbreaker today to Powell River, 3-2 in a shootout. Ben Troumbly and Ben Ivey scored goals in the 3rd period to give the Wild a brief lead, but the Kings scored in the final 5-minutes to tie it. After a scoreless overtime, the two faced off in a shootout with Powell River posting the win.

Manson remained unbeaten in North Central Washington B-League play with a sweep of Oroville. Waterville-Mansfield had its hands full with Wilson Creek, but came out on top 3-2. Pateros took care of Soap Lake in straight sets.
Here’s a look at a busy schedule for tonight as Cascade Christian starts it off at 5:30 hosting Moses Lake Christian. The 6:30 games have Cascade at Brewster; Chelan hosting Cashmere; Omak’s in Quincy; Tonasket takes on Liberty Bell; and Okanogan plays host to Lake Roosevelt.
Wenatchee goes for the regular season Big-9 title at home tonight against Davis at 7 o’clock. The late games also have Eastmont at Eisenhower; Moses Lake travels to Sunnyside; and Ephrata is in Ellensburg.
