Ballots for Primary Election mailed out July 14 to narrow local races in Chelan County

CHELAN COUNTY- The Chelan County Primary Election is just a few weeks away, with ballots going out this Friday, July 14.

A number of candidates have filed for various positions throughout the County

Contested races include a city council position in Cashmere, Chelan, Entiat, Leavenworth, Wenatchee, various school boards and fire commissioners along with a highly contested Lake Chelan Hospital Commissioners race. All ballots must be dropped in a ballot box by 8 p.m. on Aug. 1 or post marked by Aug. 1. The General Election that will include all candidates for all political positions will be held November 6.

If you have not registered to vote, you can still do so by going to the Chelan County Elections Department through July 24.
