Chad Stevens and Austin Feist each had 3-hits and drove in three runs between them to lead Corvallis to a 6-4 win over Bend.
Ben Farris tied it in the bottom of the 9th with a solo home run and then Nick Nyquists RBI-sacrifice fly won it for Walla Walla in a come-from-behind win over Kelowna 7-to-6.
Could it be possible?! The Bellingham Bells have six walk-off wins on the season and now two, back-to-back. Connor Mack delivered the latest walk-off, an RBI double in the bottom of the 9th as Bellingham came back to beat Cowlitz 3-2 at Joe Martin Field.
Trailing 4-2 in the top of the 9th, Victoria scored 6 runs to come from behind and beat Yakima Valley 8-4. Dustin Miller led the attack for the HarbourCats, going 3-for-5 with a run and 4-RBI’s.
Gabe Skoro was 3-for-3 with a home run, 3-runs scored and 2-RBI’s to lead Portland to a 9-0 non-league win at Gresham. Colin Suter and three relievers combined on a 2-hit shutout with 13-strikeouts.

Corvallis goes for the sweep of Bend at 6 o’clock. Kelowna and Walla Walla play the rubber match of their 3-game set at Borleske Stadium at 6:35. It’s also a 6:35 start time at Joe Martin Field as the Bells look for a sweep of Cowlitz in Bellingham. The AppleSox would love some more help from Victoria tonight at County Stadium as the HarbourCats wrap up their series with Yakima Valley at 7:05. We mentioned Wenatchee and Port Angeles at 7:05. Also in a non-league game, Portland wraps its series with Gresham at 6:35.
Gonzalez Homers Twice as Astros Take Series from M’s
Marwin Gonzalez went deep twice as the Astros slam four home runs, downing the Mariners 8-3 yesterday at Safeco Field…
Gonzalez hit both his home runs off Seattle starter Wade LeBlanc, who had his worst outing as a Mariner. LeBlanc lasted 4-and-a-third, allowing 7-runs on 10-hits with 4-strikeouts and three home runs.
Seattle welcomes Toronto into town tonight for the first of four games. The Mariners will throw the struggling Felix Hernandez. The Blue Jays haven’t announced their starter yet for the 7:10 game tonight.
Athletics Now Tied with Seattle for 2nd AL Wild Card Spot
With Seattle’s loss, all eyes turn to Oakland to see if the A’s caught the Mariners for the final Wild Card playoff spot…
And the answer is yes, they did. Johnathan Lucroy went 3-for-4 with 2-runs and 4-RBI’s to lead Oakland to an 8-3 win over Toronto. The win moved the Athletics to 64-and-46, while the Mariners are now 63-45…statistically tied and 5-games behind Houston in the American League West.
Willy Adames went 2-for-4 with a home run as Tampa Bay topped the Angels 7-to-2.
