Wenatchee’s Johnny Sage was 3-for-6 with 4-RBI’s while Ryan Altenberger and Dalton Harum each contributed home runs.

The victory on the mound went to Trent Sellers, who pitched 3-and-a-third innings of relief with 2-runs on 5-hits, 5-strikeouts and 1-walk.
As Joel said, the Sox and Pickles wrap up the three-game series tonight at 6:35.

AppleSox Coach Kyle Krustangel made a quadruple move in the 8th inning, taking Brett Gillis from 3rd base and having him relieve Cameron Sommer; putting Ryan Altenberger in right field; moving Blake Klassen from right field to first base; and sliding Connor Kiffer from first over to third. Gillis worked the final four outs for his second save and his coach couldn’t be happier…

Wenatchee is statistically tied for first place with Victoria in the second-half North Division standings. The HarbourCats have already secured a playoff spot with its first-half victory. The AppleSox either need to win the second half to get into the playoffs, or finish with the highest overall winning percent on the season among division teams…

Wenatchee’s wins this weekend pushed the AppleSox to 23-and-21, two games better than Bellingham at 20-and-20, and four-games in front of both Yakima Valley and Port Angeles.

Collin Burns was 4-for-5 with 2-runs as Bellingham beat Port Angeles 7-4.

Cesar Lopez was 4-for-5 with a double and 2-RBI’s to lead Walla Walla past Cowlitz 12-2.

Nick Yovetich had two doubles, went 3-for-5 with a run and 2-RBI’s as Corvallis came from behind to beat Bend 11-to-5.

Justin Boyd was 4-for-4 with 2-doubles, 4-runs and 2-RBI’s to lead Ridgefield to a 15-1 win over Yakima Valley. The Raptors had 20-hits in the game and scored in ever inning but the second and 9th.

And Victoria lost a non-league Sunday to the Burnaby Bulldogs 11-to-4.

Domingo Santana set up the sweep by tying the game in the bottom of the 8th with a two-out, solo home run, his 20th of the season. Roenis Elias worked the 10th for the win to improve to 4-and-2 on the season.

Seattle has the day off today and begin a brief, two-game set in Texas tomorrow with Mike Leake facing Ariel Jurado at 5:05.

Jose Altuve was 3-for-5 with a 3-run home run as Houston topped St. Louis 6-2. George Springer and Yordan Alvarez also went deep for the Astros in their 68th win of the season.

Los Angeles walked off on Matt Thaiss’ second homer of the game as the Angels beat Baltimore 5-4.

Oakland literally walked-off against Texas with a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 9th as the A’s beat the Rangers 6-5. Oakland went into the 9th trailing by one, but Matt Olson’s RBI single tied it at 5 before Khris Davis earned the game-winning RBI on the bases-loaded walk.
