Corvallis batters hit two triples and three doubles in a 6-run 6th inning to go on for the victory. Steen Frederickson took the loss for Wenatchee, falling to oh-and-1, allowing 5-runs on 9-hits in 4-and-a-third innings. Joey Magro had a nice night at the plate for the AppleSox, going 3-for-4 with a run.
The two teams will play the rubber match of the series tonight at 6:35 with Sam Wong starting for Wenatchee against Coravllis’ Daniel Slominski (SLOW-MIN-SKI).

On the West Coast League schedule tonight, besides Wenatchee at Corvallis, has Bellingham at Bend; Kelowna hosting Victoria; Yakima Valley at Portland; and Highline at Cowlitz in a non-league game.
Haniger’s 2-Run Homer Gives Mariners Walk-Off Win
How SWEEP IT IS!!! The Seattle Mariners swept the Angels with an 8-6, walk-off win yesterday at Safeco Field. Mitch Haniger’s 2-run, bottom of the 9th, home run gave Seattle the victory, and a three-game sweep of Los Angeles.
Haniger ends up 2-for-5 with the big 2-run shot. Jean Segura goes 3-for-5 with a run and RBI. And, believe it or not, Roenis Elias is back with the Mariners and pitched the final two innings to earn the victory.
Seattle now welcomes Boston into town for the first of four games as Felix Hernandez goes up against David Price at 7:10.
