(Wenatchee, WA)…Get a unique view of the 2016 Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State through the eyes of two player’s parents.  NCWLIFE Channel Sports Director Eric Granstrom gets beyond the helmets and shoulder pads by talking to the parents of Husky starting offensive left tackle Trey Adams and Cougar starting offensive left guard Cody O’Connell.

Meet Trey through his parents Bud and Susan and Cody through his parents Jay and Kathy.  Today, these young men are giants (Trey is 6’8″ 309 lbs. while Cody is 6’8″ 354 lbs.) but on this special Apple Cup edition of Wake Up Wenatchee Valley, you get to know them from the time they were babies, through childhood and high school until now.

Eric comes to NCWLIFE Channel after a 26-year career in radio, having most-recently served as the Producer of the Seahawks Radio Network; Weekend Sports Anchor on KOMO AM1000 in Seattle; and Program Director of KKRV 104.7FM/KWIQ 100.3FM/KKRT 900AM in Wenatchee and Moses Lake. Eric is an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing throughout the northwest, including co-hosting, filming and producing Dave Graybill’s “Fishing Magician TV.” Eric lives in Wenatchee with his dog Oakley and has one daughter, Gracie (18) who is a freshman at Central Washington University.
