Candidate Olivia Lancaster 2019-02-08

Olivia is daughter of Rick and Sandra Lancaster. Olivia is the Senior Drum Major of the Wenatchee Golden Apple Band where she plays three instruments, is the treasurer of her school’s Honors Society, and is a returning letterman of cross country and track and field. Olivia also works at Mission Ridge as a ski instructor in the winter, and harvests cherries in the summer. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, being in the outdoors, and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Olivia plans on pursuing a career in the medical field.

Olivia’s favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy and her favorite movie is The Cowboys. Her favorite song is“Square Pegs“ by Kelsea Ballerini and her favorite novel is The Lord of the Flies by William Golding. She is most inspired by her late Grandpa Richard who filled the world with laughter, and her most treasured keepsake is the memories made by her family adventures here and around the world.

Olivia’s favorite thing to do in the Wenatchee Valley, besides Apple Blossom, is to ski at Mission Ridge. Her proudest moments are when she is leading the award winning Wenatchee High School Golden Apple Marching Band. If Olivia could trade places with anyone for a day, she would trade places with actress Blake Lively. Olivia feels she should represent the Wenatchee Valley because she is a caring well rounded leader with strong ties to the community and would be an excellent ambassador who has a genuine enthusiasm for our area.
