Apple Blossom Candidate Ellie Toth

Meet Top 10 Candidate Ellie Toth

Candidate Ellie Toth 2019-02-05

Ellie is the daughter of Andrew and Connie Toth. Ellie serves as vice-president of her high school and is a member of Honor Society. She has participated in both varsity soccer, becoming captain of the girls team, and varsity track throughout her high school career. She has leadership roles in Young Life and Capernaum, while volunteering for Unified sports. In her spare time, Ellie can be found hiking in the mountains, finding a deal at the nearest thrift store, baking, or wrapped up in a blanket watching Hallmark movies. After graduation Ellie plans to major in business administration and minor in art and design.

Ellie’s favorite TV show is The Fosters and her favorite movies are 10 Things I Hate About You and Moana. Her favorite song is “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison and her favorite books are Kisses from Katie by Katie Davis and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. She is most inspired by her grandparents and friend, Heather Payne. Her most treasured keepsake is a necklace made for her by a friend while volunteering to work at a camp over the summer.

Ellie’s favorite thing to do in the Wenatchee Valley, besides Apple Blossom activities, is to soak up the sun while walking along the riverfront or explore the valley by skiing, hiking, and boating throughout the seasons. Ellie’s proudest moment was summiting Mt. Adams with her dad and younger sister two summers ago. If Ellie could trade places with anyone for a day, she would trade places with Ellen DeGeneres. Ellie feels that she should represent the Wenatchee Valley because Wenatchee is her home. The shops, people, and community are something she has grown up with and the chance to represent what this Valley stands for pulls at her heart.
