Apple Blossom Candidate Brooke Perez

Earlier this month, NCWLIFE Channel’s Eric Granstrom sat down with each of the Top 10 Apple Blossom Royalty Candidates to get to know them a little better. Meet Brooke Perez…

Who is Brooke?

Brooke is the daughter of Luis and Sundi Perez. Brooke has played the violin in orchestra for 7 years, attends the Community Partnership Program, and has been a volunteer in the Life Skills room. Brooke was a competitive gymnast for 7 years at Apple Valley Gymnastics and is now a competitive dancer at Dance Creations, assists classes at Dance Creations, and works at Wenatchee Dental. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, going shopping with her friends, and working out. After Graduation, Brooke plans to attend Seattle Pacific University where she will major in biology as well as continue her love for dance and playing the violin.

Brooke’s favorite things

Brooke’s favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy and her favorite movie is Maleficent. Her favorite song is “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac and her favorite book is Wonder by R.J. Palacio. She is most inspired by her brother Brandyn and her most treasured keepsake is the necklace her dad made for her.

Why Brooke?

Brooke’s favorite thing to do in the Wenatchee Valley, besides Apple Blossom, is to stroll the Wenatchee Avenue with friends to visit the different restaurants and coffee shops, walk her dogs on the loop trail, and hike Saddle Rock when the sun is out. Her proudest moment was when she performed her first solo at a Dance Competition. If Brooke could trade places with anyone for the day, she would trade places with Zendaya. Brooke feels she should represent the Wenatchee Valley because she has had experience working in the fruit Orchards, her brother and father work in the fruit industry which exposed her to the processing of fruit, has a love for our Valley and the Apple Blossom Festival, and wishes to be a positive influence and role model to younger girls.
