Apple Blossom Candidate Alex Toth

Earlier this month, NCWLIFE Channel’s Eric Granstrom sat down with each of the Top 10 Apple Blossom Royalty Candidates to get to know them a little better. Meet Alex Toth…

Who is Alex?

Alex is the daughter of Andrew and Connie Toth. Alex represents her senior class as a Senior Senate member, participated in varsity volleyball for three years, and has been an active member of the Honors Society and Unified Sports. Alex has studied classical piano for 12 years taking part in multiple recitals and state competitions, she works as a local barista at the Seattle Yoga Lounge and Cafe, and leads as a student leader in YoungLife. In her spare time she loves beautiful hiking trips, baking, and going on adventures with her friends. After graduation, Alex plans to major in nursing and travel the world to use her skills for medical relief.

Alex’s favorite thing

Alex’s favorite TV show is New Girl and her favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice. Her favorite song is “Better Together” by Luke Combs and her favorite book is The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Strewart. She is most inspired by her mom and her most treasured keepsake are two rings given to her by her sister and her parents.

Why Alex?

Alex’s favorite thing to do in the Wenatchee Valley, besides Apple Blossom, is to connect with people at the downtown coffee shops, play volleyball at the Walla Walla sand courts, and make too many trips to Target. Her proudest moment in life is being able to memorize and perform over ten piano pieces for a judge consecutively for ten years. If Alex could trade places with anyone for the day, she would trade places with Simoine Biles. Alex feels she should represent the Wenatchee Valley because she has a joy for connecting with new people and wants to share all the wonderful memories and lessons her hometown has taught her.
