Apple Blossom Candidate Aisha Mondragon

Aisha is the daughter of Mayra Mondragon and the late Ulisses Mondragon. Since her Sophomore year, Aisha has been involved in Wrestling and Track. Aisha has also been an active member of Eastmont High School’s Chamber Choir, and has been part of a play for her church’s Journey to Bethlehem. In her spare time, she likes to play the piano, paint, and spend time with her family and friends. After graduation, Aisha plans to go to a four year University and Major in Law Enforcement.

Aisha’s favorite things

Aisha’s favorite TV show is Riverdale and her favorite movie is The Lion King. Her favorite song is “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. Her favorite novel is A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer. Aisha is most inspired by her mom. Her most treasured keepsake is a fanny pack full of food and animal erasers that reminds her of her childhood.

Aisha’s favorite thing to do in the Wenatchee Valley, besides Apple Blossom, is going downtown and capturing pictures with friends, and then eating after. Her proudest moment in life was getting the news that her mom was pregnant. If she could trade places with anyone for a day, she would trade places with Bill Gates.

Why Aisha?

Aisha believes she should represent the Wenatchee Valley because she has great confidence and a positive attitude that brightens anyone’s day. She puts people’s needs before her own and has the courage to step out of her comfort zone and try new things that will be a memorable experience.
