The annual “Waterville Days” festival will take place this weekend in downtown Waterville.
The festival, put on by the Waterville Main Street Association, will begin Friday evening downtown at 5:00.
It will continue through Saturday evening with a handful of festivities for families and all ages to enjoy.
Exectutive Director of the Waterville Main Street Association, Lisa Davies, explained to how the festival has expanded in recent years.
“It first started as a community event and I don’t think there were vendors and all that goes on now,” Davis explained.
She continued by adding that this will be the fifth year that the Main Street Association will host the festival.
“The Chamber started to grow it and since Main Street has taken over we added a few different events to it,” Davies explained.
The weekend will feature a spaghetti feed, live entertainment, an antique car show, a parade through downtown Waterville and much more.
The festival will be free and open to all ages.
