A broad ridge of high pressure will remain over the Inland Northwest through Thursday. Strong temperature inversions remain in place…with temperatures currently in the mid-20s to mid-30s for most valley locations. The strong inversion leading to poor mixing will continue through Friday morning.
Weather for Northcentral Washington today expect partly cloudy skies, light wind and afternoon high temperatures still cool, into the mid and maybe upper 40’s.
Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures will warm about 10 degrees for Thursday, with highs tomorrow in the lower to mid-50’s.
A weak weather system will move into the region starting early Friday morning with a slight chance for scattered showers and breezy conditions around 10-15 mph with afternoon highs above normal into the mid and upper 50’s.
By Halloween on Saturday, following the passage of the weak cold front on Friday, temperatures on Saturday will slightly dip from Friday but not much, with highs forecasted to be in the lower to mid- 50s. The upper level ridge quickly rebuilds over the Pacific Northwest on Saturday and will remain the dominate weather feature through at least the middle of next week.
Both Sunday and Monday will be nice with mostly sunny to sunny skies each day with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 50’s.
Our weather will change a bit on Tuesday with partly to mostly cloudy skies, a 20% chance of scattered showers and afternoon high temperatures in the upper 50’s.
