Saddle Rock Gateway Park Opens Today in Wenatchee

Saddle Rock Gateway Park

The City of Wenatchee hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony this evening for its newest park. Saddle Rock Gateway Park will be formally dedicated at 6:30 PM.

The new park serves as a trail head for the popular Saddle Rock trail and it features new picnic shelters and restrooms. The park was built using a mix of grant and local funding.

The park’s development was made possible with the partnership between the City of Wenatchee, the Chelan Douglas Land Trust, and the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program, who will be making some brief remarks during the evening.

The Saddle Rock Gateway is located at the end of Circle Street, near the same site as the previous Saddle Rock temporary parking area. Here is a map .
