Both Schrier, Newhouse voted against impeachment

Both of Central Washington’s U.S. Representatives voted against starting impeachment proceedings against President Trump

The House rejected the resolution by a 332-95 vote Wednesday.

Eighth District Rep. Kim Schrier, a Democrat, joined Republican Fourth District Rep. Dan Newhouse in voting no.

Only four Republicans voted in favor of impeachment and 95 Democrats voted against.

This marked the third time Texas Rep. Al Green tried to impeach Trump.

But it was it was the first time since Democrats regained control of the House, and Green was able to force the issue to a full vote.
