LEAVENWORTH, WA.-Troopers say a Leavenworth man was driving too fast for the snowy conditions when he crashed into another vehicle late Friday afternoon. It happened when 20 year old Wyatt Whaley lost control of his pickup truck while traveling westbound on Hwy 2 about a mile east of Leavenworth.

Troopers say the pickup collided with an eastbound pickup driven by a Malaga man. Whaley was transported to Confluence Health for treatment. The other driver was injured but treated at the scene. Hwy 2 Traffic was stalled for about two hours.
