Chelan PUD Issues Columbia River Warning

WENATCHEE, WA.-The Columbia River is currently flowing at 300-thousand cubic feet per second, the biggest flow in decades. NCWLife’s Grant Olson joined PUD officials yesterday at Walla Walla Point Park to get the message out about the dangers of high water in the Columbia. . .

It only takes a moment for the current to take someone out of reach of the shore. There are drownings every year in Chelan and Douglas County including fatalities.
