Hundreds of volunteers took part in Saturday’s Make a Difference Day activities in the Wenatchee Valley. It’s the one day out of the year that the community comes together to help others. The Pybus Market again served as the central gathering place with information about the wide variety of work projects with a multitude of non-profit and charitable organizations in need of a helping hand. Work parties were busy repairing and giving away free bicycles. It was also a day for fall cleanup in the foothills as volunteer work crews busied themselves planting and fixing trails with the Chelan Douglas Land Trust.
