(Wenatchee, WA)…Today is the first of three days for the Wenatchee Valley Sportsmen Show at the Town Toyota Center. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast who likes to hunt, fish, camp or just be outside, this is the place to be.
Merle Shuyler is the organizer. He says you have to come check out all the displays and booths. “We have hunting guides and fishing guides and Hooked On Toys will have a large presence at the show. We also have boats from Bob Feils here in town and Valley Marine out of Yakima. These are fishing boats.”
Shuyler says attendees will be able to see live animal displays such as rattle snakes, cougars, bobcats and a baby tiger. “If it behaves right, you might be able to get your picture taken with it,” Shuyler said of the baby tiger. There’s a free kids fishing pond at the rear of the arena and Shuyler says the Department of Fish & Wildlife is hosting a shooting range for youth and adults.
The Wenatchee Valley Sportsmen Show runs Noon-7pm Friday; 10am-6pm Saturday; and 10am-5pm Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children 6-12. Kids 5 and under are free.
