WENATCHEE – The Washington State Special Olympics Winter Games hopes to raise money this weekend with the 18th annual polar plunge in Wenatchee.
The Saturday event at the Walla Walla Point Park swimming lagoon is put on by the Wenatchee City Parks and Recreation Department and includes local law enforcement.
You can register starting at 10 am with the plunge slated for noon. Last year’s event raised over $10,000 dollars for local Special Olympics athletes. The Winter Games will once again be held in Wenatchee in March.
