anthers Down #1-Ranked Pasco in Shootout

WENATCHEE, WA – It was a rematch of last year’s State Soccer Playoffs at the Apple Bowl last night as the Wenatchee Panthers hosted the #1-ranked Pasco Bulldogs. The game lived up to the expectations as the two sides would play 80-minutes tied. Two overtimes tied. And the match would be decided by a shootout. Sebastian Moraga and Matt Wisen had the call on the NCWLIFE Channel…

And there you have it on the Les Schwab Prep Scoreboard, Wenatchee knocking off Pasco 3-2 in a shootout victory. The Panthers improved to 7-2-1 with the win.

Trail Downs Wenatchee 5-2, Game 5 Friday at TTC

There will be a Game 5 and it will be in Wenatchee Friday night after Trail defeated the Wenatchee Wild 5-2 last night in Game 4 of their Interior Division Final Series…
WILD
It seemed last night that the Smoke Eaters made up for all the near-misses the night before, as Trail jumped out to a 3-zero first period lead. Wenatchee cut the lead to one in the second, but Trail answered and avoided being swept in the best-of-seven series. Arch Ecker had the call on the Wenatchee Wild Hockey Network. Game 5 will be tomorrow night at the Town Toyota Center with the puck dropping at 7:05.

Here’s what we have on tap for the NCWLIFE Broadcast Schedule…

Hernandez Shelled by Giants in 10-1 Mariners Loss

Felix Hernandez had a hard time finding the strike zone on San Francisco yesterday, and when he did, Giant hitters put it over the fence as the Mariners lost 10-1 yesterday…
MARINERS
Hernandez allowed 8-runs on 6-hits, three home runs and walked five as the M’s and Giants split the two game series. Daniel Vogelbach drove in Seattle’s lone run. The Mariners now travel to frigid Minneapolis to take on the Twins in a day game today at 1:10. James Paxton is scheduled to go against Kyle Gibson. Of course, grounds crews were still working on removing a foot of snow from the surface of Target Field last night…so we’ll see if the game actually takes place.
